General information

The duration of the Master is one academic year, but can be extended to two academic years depending on the student's study plan.
Please, note that in order to participate to the selection for the PhD student positions reserved to those in possession of the Master in Fusion Energy for the Academic Year 2017/2018, the final examination must be completed by October 31, 2017.
The course will allow the accrual of 60 European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS), corresponding to 1500 hours, of which 440 of live or interactive didactic activities with the tutors. Added to the live didactic lessons are laboratory activities as well as stages in research laboratories and industries.

Attendance is compulsory for at least 90% of the lessons and seminars, and all laboratory work is mandatory.


At the end of the Master, the registered students who are in line with the payments, with the attendance level and have passed the final tests will be given the qualification of Level II Master in “Fusion Energy – Science and Engineering”.
